Spot and wind conditions​

Dakhla is situated on a narrow peninsula that juts into the Atlantic Ocean, creating a unique blend of lagoon and ocean conditions.

Strong and Consistent Winds: Dakhla typically enjoys strong winds from April to September, often ranging from 15 to 30 knots. The thermal winds in summer can be particularly reliable. Ideal for all Levels.The wind conditions are suitable for both beginners and advanced kitesurfers, making it a versatile spot for various skill levels.

 

Flat Water and Waves: The lagoon offers flat water, perfect for freestyle and beginners, while the ocean side provides wave conditions for more experienced riders. The water temperature is generally comfortable, making it enjoyable to kite without a thick wetsuit, depending on the month either short or long wetsuit wil be recommended.

 

Scenic Beauty: The backdrop of Dakhla includes stunning desert landscapes and turquoise waters, providing a picturesque setting for kitesurfing.

 

Community and Atmosphere: Dakhla has a vibrant kitesurfing community, attracting riders from around the world. The social atmosphere makes it easy to connect with fellow enthusiasts.

 

The Plan

​

We will start the day with the morning Yoga before breakfast to awake our body and prepare for the session in the water. Followed by Moroccan breakfast. After breakfast we will get ready to get on the water. We start with the coaching lesson, after that you get your free time to be able to practice your skills.

 

Around 14;00 we have a lunch break.
After lunch there will be time till sunset to enjoy few more hours of kitesurfing.

At 20;00 we gather for delicious Moroccan dinner.

 

Depending on the wind condition and tides we choose one of the days where we going to head to :
1.White Dune (downwind)
2.Speed Spot (down wind)
3. Secret Spot (down wind)
