Spot and wind conditions​

The main season is between June-August. Wind speed is usually from 18-30 knots. The main kitesurfing spots are Masirah Island where there is variety of kite spots, both flat and waves.

 

Bar al Hikman completely remote place on the main land, with stunning lagoon, white and soft sand. On the others side of the lagoon there is an open sea with small waves.

Plan of the Trip

8 nights /9 days exploration road trip around the best kitesurfing spots in Oman.

 

• Arrival to Muscat Airport - Depending on the arrival time of all participants we either move straight to Masirah island which is 8 hours away or make a 1st stop at Ras Al Hadd Lagoon. It’s around 3 hours’ drive from Muscat.

• Departure by ferry to Masirah Island. 

• 4 full days in Masirah island, where we will be exploring different kite spots 

• 7:30 Morning Yoga Class

• 8:30/9:00 Breakfast in the local restaurant

• 10:00 departing to the kite spot. The closest kite spot is around 35 minutes from the village.

• 11:00 kite coaching lesson with video analysis in the small groups

• After 4 nights in Masirah we grab ferry back to the main land 

• Off road drive to the very remote spot called Bar al Hikman. 

• We stay at the camp in Bar al Hikman to connect with a nature and enjoy flat lagoon and open sea on the other side.

• In bar al Hikman we follow same daily schedule as in Masirah (Yoga, breakfast, kite coaching)

• Last night we will spend in the village closest to Bar al Hikman 

• Morning check out and drive back to the airport. It’s around 8 hours’ drive from Bar al hikman to Muscat.
