Why Brazil?
Because it’s the windy paradise. The wind is 100% guaranteed, you don’t have to check the forecast. Also, there is a huge variety of the spots, from the super flat lagoons to the wave spots and options of numerous down winds.
The temperature of the water is super pleasant so no need for wetsuit.
Most of the kite spots are located in the small towns ,villages , so get ready for the local Brazilian vibe.
The views from the lagoons and on down winds will blow your mind. Kiting in the butter flat water with the wind meals and palm trees in the background.

Why exploring more of the North coast?
I decided to organize the 2nd camp more up north, especially for those that have been already to some places in Brazil and they want to discover more local and uncrowded spots. I feel like it’s a shame not to discover those parts.
I chose 2 best locations for you.
Kalit hotel in Ilha de Guaijru which is a pure luxury and very convenient place to be right at the kite spot.
Macapa which is more of the local vibe, still untouched and not crowded with a huge lagoon and a beautiful mangrove.

Plan of the trip

7th - 10th of November

Arrival to Fortaleza and transfer to Luau Hotel in Guaijru.

We will enjoy 3 nights in Guajiru in the Luau hotel.

Starting from the easiest spot which is the Lagoinha (Donkey) Lagoon so you can start warming up those skills and get ready for stronger wind up the North. Starting from the easiest s

It takes 25min beach ride with 4x4 car or a buggy to get to the spot.

After coaching in the lagoon, you can jump in for the open sea session if you wish.

Guaijru is a small local village where you can experience the local vibe and try the delicious local Acai. We will enjoy also a local BBQ at the beach.

10th - 14th of November

On the 10th we check out after breakfast and we take transport to Macapa.

We either leave in the evening to make the most of the kiting day in Lagoinha or early morning to score the sunset session in Macapa. As we are a small group we can adjust it to the preferences.

We are staying in the local posada Vilarejo with a really nice and calm vibe.

The other Macapa attractions;
-
Full day trip to Delta de Paranaiba. One of the most stunning trips where u will see red birds looking like Flamingos we will ride through the mangroves to the massive dune and kite in the super flat water.

Optional day trip to Barra Grande which is just 50min away. It’s more lively and touristic with some nice restaurants and local shopping. After morning session, we will drive to Barra to enjoy a bit more of Brazilian Vibes, have dinner and few Caipirinhas.

14th after breakfast we check out .We can score morning session in Macapa and move to Kalit Hotel or leave early and score sunset session at Ilha de Guaijru.

14th - 17th of November

Arrival to stunning Kalit hotel which is right at the kite spot.

There is a high and low tides at the spot but you will be able to kite, all day long since there is always water there.

It’s very convenient location since its literally 2 minutes’ walk from your room to the kite spot.

In the evening, we will have a dinner in the Kalit hotel or drive 5min to town to dine- in the local restaurants.

10:00 1.5 h of kite coaching in the small group, together with video analysis

After the lunch break you are free to practice those new tricks, and kite till sunset at every location.
